Domenic Jansen is the current President of the Kalon Syndicate. Like all Kalon presidents, he has been chosen for life.
His primary role is to act as a representative and mediator for the Kalon Council, which consists of 7 powerful lords. While he may try to appoint a successor for when he eventually dies, the ultimate decision falls to the council - a process that has historically sparked fierce internal conflicts and even civil war.
