RS-0 is a sector on Euphrosyne about 1/16th the size of the Blocks. Right now it is just a toxic ruin.

first settlement
The sector was designed and built by HMC as their first pre-war experiment in permanently housing humans on the planet. It was opened in 2371 and was intended to house about 50 million people, soon becoming home to displaced and homeless populations from other planets.
the incident
The experiment failed spectacularly. Unbeknownst to the inhabitants and HMC, the sector was built directly upon a large Tsiktral neuron vein. This eventually triggered a catastrophic host disease outbreak in the year 2393, leading to the sector’s complete ruin.
It remains unclear exactly how the events unfolded, but there are rumors that some survivors were evacuated to RS-1 and lived to tell the tale, though no one is entirely certain.
