Dubongs are thick-skinned, hairless mammals that primarily swim near the coast of the toxic Vitriol Sea. While they are capable swimmers and use the sea as a means to travel and temporarily escape predators, they are also quite quick on land, where they primarily feed on plants.

biology and behavior

They have a large pair of tusks and carry a heavy load of fat. To communicate, they make loud, low-frequency blurts using their fatty snouts.

farming and utility

Due to its natural resistance against toxicity, dubong leather is quite common among the inhabitants of Euphrosyne. Because of their utility, some humans breed dubongs as farm animals to harvest them for their skin, meat, and milk.
