Statica is a powerful combat stimulant drug that is synthesized from stoneshrooms. It is administered via injection.
When injected into the body, statica causes a massive, immediate decrease in pain and a massive surge of physical energy. The stimulant generally produces a mood-improving effect, though it paradoxically places the body and mind under significant chemical stress. The user feels intensely stimulated, energized, and capable of fighting through grievous injuries.
Because of these properties, statica is often administered in combat situations to heavily injured or dying soldiers to drastically increase their chances of survival. The effects of the drug last for a strictly limited amount of time. Once the statica wears off, the user is left feeling completely physically and mentally exhausted, experiencing a severe “crash.”
