Starborn refers to the people who arrived-usually by crashing-on Euphrosyne from space after the Great War, when the planet became completely isolated from the rest of the galaxy.

The majority of Starborn are simply unlucky space travelers who veered off course due to accidents, some of which are caused by the unpredictable anomaly.
However, a smaller portion consists of crazy adventurers who deliberately traveled to the quarantined Euphrosyne to see what happened there, often driven by the hope of getting rich from scavenging valuable neurons or lost pre-war technology.
