overview
Yoseung Wambi was the strict, brilliant, and ruthless former leader of the Vanguard Exclave.
rise to power
Wambi took power during a critical period when the Exclave had been pushed to its knees by the rebels who would eventually form the Commonwealth of Accra. Starting out as a young soldier, his strict personality, exceptional leadership skills, and strategic genius allowed him to rise rapidly through the ranks.
The exact method by which he ultimately seized total power is heavily buried beneath layers of Exclave propaganda. However, it is widely believed among outsiders that he secured his position through cunning political pressure and the targeted assassinations of his political opponents.
reign and death
As leader, Wambi managed to secure multiple major settlements back from the Commonwealth, establishing an iron-fisted dictatorship propped up by a massive, ruthless personality cult (to the point where Exclave soldiers are still nicknamed “Wambys” by outsiders).
Eventually, his reign ended when he was assassinated by an unknown perpetrator. While the Exclave officially blames the Commonwealth rebels for his death, there is lingering evidence suggesting the assassination may have been orchestrated from within.
