Wardens are intelligent robots utilized by HMC to police, guard, manage and communicate with humans. They vaguely resemble humans in shape but are clearly made out of metal. During the Great War, wardens were commonly utilized as combat robots and wielded heavy weapons.

Today, wardens are heavily utilized to patrol the streets and guard the farming settlements of The New Euphrosyne Project (NEP). However, the units stationed in these areas have largely lost their former glory; they are often rusty and consist of barely held-together 100-year-old technology.
Despite their role as a policing force, the wardens (alongside HMC surveillance drones) completely ignore the massive illegal drug farms and factories operating in plain sight within the NEP.
