Slick Jack is a wanderer and self-proclaimed “lone rebel” traversing the dusty roads of Euphrosyne on his customized biofuel chopper. Inspired by ancient, pre-war greaser culture and bad-boy archetypes, Jack is defined by his intense vanity and an absolute dedication to looking cool, often at the direct expense of his own safety.
Most seasoned mercenaries, view him as a naive, walking liability, though Jack remains blissfully unaware of this, interpreting eye-rolls and rejections as people simply being intimidated by his aura.
appearance and gear
Jack is deeply committed to his aesthetic. He wears a jet-black jacket made of genuine dubong leather.
His signature feature is his hair, which is styled into an immaculate, gravity-defying swoop.
He carries a sleek Commonwealth of Accra manufactured respirator, which he complains leaves indentation marks on his face. He is known to take it off the moment he enters an airlocked bar in order to expose his jawline, which he considers to be his greatest asset. He also frequently smokes arayo leaf joints, entirely for the aesthetic of squinting through the smoke.
personality
Jack is completely vapid, highly confident, and obsessed with picking up women. He operates under the delusion that he is a mysterious, irresistible lone wolf. When his pick-up lines inevitably fail or he is bluntly rejected by hardened wastelanders, Jack’s ego remains completely untouched; he immediately rationalizes the rejection by convincing himself the woman was simply “playing hard to get” or “intimidated by his jawline.”
