Machines refer to the various robotic entities found across Euphrosyne.
The vast majority of machines belong to the Hephaestus Mining Corporation (HMC) and are controlled by the AI Consonance. These HMC machines can either be remote-controlled directly by Consonance or operate autonomously.
A minority of machines are disconnected and independent. These independent machines might be remnants of Vanguard technology or units that have been repurposed by and remain loyal to the Mechanics.
There are many different models of machines traversing the planet. While some are humanoid in shape (such as the wardens), others are built for strictly utilitarian or combat purposes and take on much less humanoid forms.
